Philipp Haffner: On the gradual development of thoughts in the process of drawing

This video runs with quadruple speed documenting the process of drawing. By fastforwarding the cognitive process of drawing becomes visible. Similar to language thoughts develop from the process of drawing - a theory described by H.v. Kleist in his essay "Über die allmähliche Verfertigung der Gedanken beim Reden" (About the procedual formation of thoughts while talking), which served as a mayor inspiration for this project.
The setup, that was used in the film "Le Mystère Picasso" (1956) by Henri-Georges Clouzo, was modified for this drawing-video.
