Philipp Haffner: TESTSERIES

Galerie Suvi Lehtinen is pleased to present the work of Berlin born artist Philipp Haffner. In the drawings exhibited, Haffner examines a multiplicity of structures, which are presented in a grid formation, housing the apparent arbitrary nature of the inherent subject matter. Nuclear power plants, public transport maps, and microbes reference the economical, biological, logistical structures of power in a subtle and playful way. Stripped of the serious nature of objective analysis they function more as subjective self tests in cognitive processing. Functioning as a reflection on the distillation of reality through hyper digitization and the individuals growing need to process and externalize the consumption of images.
